2025 Updates

Release Notes - 9th April 2025

Release notes from the Edgescan bi-monthly release

  • Changes
    • As a User, I can filter assets assigned Active, Expired and Pending Order items.
    • As a User, I want to view insights in an accordion structure.
    • As a user I want Insights to automatically include data from all organizations in the org hierarchy. As a user I want to filter Insights by organizations.
    • As a user, I want a last_vulnerability_assessment_date on the Asset API so that I can tell when the last vulnerability assessment occurred on the asset, this includes scheduled and on_demand assessments.
    • As a user, I want my location specifier inputs to be checked for right formatting so that I can't introduce invalid ones.
    • As a user, I want to filter assets by licensing plan type, so that I can quickly identify assets with specific licensing requirements.
    • As a user I want to be able to manage custom fields via API.
  • Bug Fixes
    • As a super user, I want to see an indication that the accept/revoke process is in progress, so I know it is working.
    • As a User, I want accepting/revoking of a EULA to be seamless.

    • As a user, I want the retest link to appear correctly in the event emails.
    • As a user, when creating a new asset, I can tick the 'authenticated' checkbox like before without issue.
    • As a user, I want vulnerability scanning to be automatically enabled/disabled when assigning/unassigning a vulnerability scanning licence. Auto-renewal assignments will not auto-enable vulnerability scanning on the asset. Vulnerability scanning is now disabled by default.
    • As a user I want to be able to create retest assessments without vulnerability scanning being enabled on the asset.
    • As a user I want to be able to see when a PCI scheduled assessment is upcoming on the calendar, instead of just seeing a generic "scheduled" assessment.
