I'm testing a web application, what do I need?
Asset Attribute | Attribute Purpose | Checklist |
Asset Name | All assets have a name, you can use this for reporting and searching in the platform. | ✅ |
Asset Type | Assets are usually Apps, APIs or Network hosts. | ✅ |
Network Access | Assets will be public or privately accessible. So we will need an internal or external attribute to ensure we are access it correctly. | ✅ |
Location | We will need a location to start testing. This will usually be a URL and a hostname. | ✅ |
Credentials | If authenticated, we need credentials. | ✅ |
Licence | A licence is required to start all scanning in Edgescan. | ✅ |
