Benefits of Roles

Roles simplify user management by grouping permissions into reusable sets. Instead of assigning permissions individually, you can:
  • Save time by applying predefined roles to multiple users.
  • Improve security with consistent access control.
  • Simplify audits by reviewing role-based permissions instead of individual settings.

Viewing Roles

The Roles Index Page provides an overview of all roles in your organization:
  • Role Name
  • Description
  • Visibility
  • User Count
  • Actions

Creating a New Role

  1. Click Add Role on the Roles index page.

  2. Fill in:
    • Role Name
    • Description
    • Organization
  3. Click Save.
Best Practices:
  • Use clear, descriptive names.
  • Provide detailed descriptions for future reference.

Deleting a Role

  1. Navigate to the role’s detail page.
  2. Click the Trash icon.
  3. Confirm deletion in the modal dialog.

Important:
  • This action cannot be undone.
  • Roles with assigned users cannot be deleted.
  • Deleting a role makes it unavailable for assignement
