Can I Discard Vulnerabilities In Edgescan?
In Edgescan you can discard vulnerabilities from the platform. You can do this individually or in bulk.

In Edgescan it is possible to remove vulnerabilities from the platform using the discard function.
Discarded vulnerabilities can be re-opened.
Discarded vulnerabilities are never tested for during assessments. They are not listed in generated reports and their risk scores are excluded from asset scores and metrics. Confirming indicates you are willing to ignore any risks associated with this vulnerability.
- In the platform identify the vulnerability you wish to discard.
- Click the discard button on the top right, as indicated below.
- Confirm you wish to discard the vulnerability.
We recommend adding pertinent information that you or a colleague will be able to reference in the future.- You can chose the type of discard. The options are:
- Risk Acceptance
- False Positive
- Other
- You can chose the type of discard. The options are:
- You will receive a confirmation that the vulnerability has been discarded.
- You can view all discarded vulnerabilities in the vulnerabilities page by setting the filter to vulnerability status = discarded.
